Carmel Woman’s Club Celebrates 100 Years, Raises More Than $105,000 in Scholarships

The Carmel Woman’s Club marked its 100th anniversary in grand style, bringing the community together for an afternoon filled with music, food, family activities, and historic reflection. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, members, and supporters, the celebration exceeded expectations — raising more than $105,000 for student scholarships, surpassing the club’s fundraising goal.

“Oh, what a feeling,” said the Centennial Committee, noting that the milestone celebration not only honored a century of service but also secured a lasting impact for future generations.

The centennial event, themed “Live Music. Local Food. Family Fun. All in One Afternoon,” featured live performances from the Alison Sharino Band, Cannery Rogue Men’s Barbershop Quartet, Mike Marotta and Dave Dally, and Vocal Point Women’s Barbershop Quartet. Guests enjoyed signature paella from Chef Brandon Miller, tastings from beloved Carmel restaurants including Rio Grill, Patria, Café Carmel, Pizza Factory, and Platter Perfection, a classic car show, face painting, vintage photo booths, family games, and historic exhibits showcasing Carmel’s rich past.

Proceeds from the event directly fund scholarships for local students, continuing the club’s legacy of service, education, and community support.

The Carmel Woman’s Club extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed, attended, and sponsored this historic milestone.
