Julie “Jules” Howe is a California screenwriter, producer and children’s book author. She co-produced the 2020 New York Emmy-winning documentary Miracle on 42nd Street, a fascinating documentary that explores the incredible story of Manhattan Plaza, a subsidized housing “experiment” in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen.
Her children’s book, Catty Wompus: A Tale of Friendship is a Hoffer Award winner. In 2015 she wrote, produced and filmed a live action spec pilot called The Adventures of Catty Wompus based on the book and its sequel, Catty Wompus and the New Kid.
