Journey Through the Decades
Join the Carmel Woman’s Club as we commemorate 100 years of community, service, and tradition at our Centennial Celebration, Journey Through the Decades. This special event invites the community to step back in time and enjoy an afternoon of nostalgic entertainment, local flavor, and family-friendly fun.
OPENING CEREMONY
The celebration will begin with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem performed by local sisters Tatiana, Tahlia, and Tiana Magdaleno — also known as TNT and the Explosions — followed by the presentation of the colors by our community’s Color Guard.
ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP
- 12:30-4:00PM Alison Sharino Band Live Music Through the Decades: Enjoy performances featuring jazz, big band, rock ’n’ roll, Motown, disco, and funk.
- 12:00-12:45PM Cannery Rogues Men’s Barber Shop Quartet: Traditional four-part harmonies that bring timeless charm.
- 1:30-2:30PM Mike Marotta & Dave Dally – Italian Classics: A tribute to the golden age of Italian melodies.
- 2:30-3:15PM Vocal Point Women’s Barbershop Quartet
CULINARY OFFERINGS
- Signature Paella by Chef Brandon Miller
- Local Favorites: Bites from Rio Grill, Café Carmel, Patria, Pizza Factory, and Platter Perfection
FAMILY-FRIENDLY ACTIVITES:
- Historical Exhibits: A walk through Carmel’s history with rare photos and artifacts
- Face Painting
- Vintage Photo Booth
- Classic Car Display: Featuring automobiles from across the decades in the Sunset Center Parking Lot
- Games and Interactive Experiences for All Ages
OPPORTUNITY DRAWING: Each $10 ticket includes one entry into the drawing for a Carmel Woman’s Club petite market logo bag. Additional drawing tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
Street Closure Notice!
Carmel Woman’s Club Centennial Celebration
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Carmel Woman’s Club will host its Centennial Celebration: Journey Through the Decades on 9th Avenue at San Carlos.
Street Closure: 9th between San Carlos and Dolores will be closed to through traffic from 8:00 a.m. for event setup and will reopen by 7:00 p.m. Alternate routes will be available and clearly marked.
Event Hours: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A special shout-out to the Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) for their outstanding support in helping keep our event attendees safe—your presence and dedication are truly appreciated! We cannot wait for the September 20th event!
Pacific Grove Natural History Museum Wonder on Wheels will be at our event.
